Postcards are rectangular pieces of thin cardboard which are used to send written messages. They come in two conventional sizes: standard postcard (3.5” x 5.5”) and continental postcard (4” x 6”). One of the most advantageous features of a postcard is its format. In opposition to television or radio ads, postcards always reach the hand of the audience, becoming, in this way, a personal belonging. This means that each person who gets hold of a postcard can feel free to see them more carefully whenever they find the time to do it. Postcards call the audience’s attention for it features a pure or almost pure image.
